Maureen was blind folded and told to get into the car. Sounds like something out of a horror movie. But, she was just in for a very special 55th birthday party.

It's always very satisfying getting return clients. Apart from the obvious, it's always a great opportunity to get to know people better and embrace what it is to be human, the social species we are. I've had the pleasure of photographing Ashlee and her family several times now, and it's always been a pleasure. But, unfortunately it might be last time for awhile as Ashlee is moving north for awhile.
Ashlee's family and friends sent her off in style with a great night full of food, games and laughs. All the best with the move Ashlee!

After our fantastically fun engagement shoot a few months back, I had the pleasure to spend a whole day with Carly and Andy, photographing their special day.

Tulips
What a fun morning! Taking two families out to the Tulip Festival to take photos. The kids had endless fun running through the rows of flowers. I am not sure how there were any flowers still upright by the end of the day!

Natasha & Drew are expecting twins in 6 weeks time. After a slow start, Drew warmed in to the photo shoot. I think you would agree they both look great!

On the 27th of August Terrific Fitness and Mrs Australia finalist Chantal Togany held a fundraising event for Act For Kids, an organisation helping abused and neglected children.
It was a great day, raising $600 for Act for Kids
Welcome to Jurassic Park
Ashleigh recently celebrated her 30th birthday, with a Jurassic Park themed party. The venue was decorated with all sorts of references to the movies. Even the desserts reflected the movie.
And like in the movie, the dinosaurs attacked. But the humans prevailed in the end.

Hawaii Part 2 - Waikiki & Pearl Harbour
The second half of our trip to Hawaii was spent in the tourist hub, Waikiki. A week that made for great sunsets, lots of shopping and cheap cocktails. While Waikiki reminded me of a more expensive version of Queensland's Gold Coast, it still had it's own wonderful charms, such as a backdrop of an extinct volcano, Diamond Head.
Hawaii Part 1 - Volcano Hunting
Hawaii, what an amazing place. Lisa (my partner in crime) and I recently took a tour with GEO ETC, (http://geoetc.com/ ) to the island of Hawaii to learn about hot spot volcanoes. This tour was aimed at school teachers to educate them how to better teach students about Earth Science but also great for those of us who are not school teachers. It was AMAZING! It's an excellent tour for anyone who loves science, likes physical activity and has a hunger for learning new things. Gary Lewis, our guide, had a wealth of knowledge and to top it off, he's a pretty good bloke too.
Super Mario Gender Reveal
A new video game was realised on Sunday, Super Daddio. It's a game where you need to look after a house full of kids! Chris is up for the challenge! He will have some support from Spiderman and Batman to lend hand if he needs it, along with some superhero snacks.
Chris, Mel and family will be welcoming a 5th member. To celebrate, a day at the park with family and friends was in order to reveal the gender of the newest member!

The colours of Autumn
Autumn, such a beautiful time of year. With all the colourful falling leaves. There is no better place to enjoy the colours of Autumn then Maroondah Dam, where I had the pleasure to spend an afternoon with Breanna, Simon and Sienna.

Bec & Joel's Engagement
Engagement parties, fun for everyone involved, including the photographer.
Bec and Joel put on a great night for their family and friends. The food was amazing,
the cake was beautiful,
and there was dancing, dress up's and plenty of laughs, including Joel accidentally being kicked in the head! I did ask the girls to show me some movement!
