She Said Yes
I’ve always wanted to shoot an engagement proposal, and recently I got my chance on a beautiful Sunday morning at the Tulip Festival.
I was nervous for the groom, but this was all for nothing as everything went to plan! It was a beautiful moment, and I am honoured to have been there to capture it for the beautiful couple, Josh and Veronica.

Family Photoshoot - In beautiful tranquil Warrandyte
Recently I spent an afternoon with Ashlee, Dan and their daughter Xanthea at Warrandyte Pound Bend Reserve. If you haven’t visited and you like beautiful and tranquil surroundings, then it’s perfect for you. I was lucky enough to spend my teenage years growing up around this park. It's a beautiful place.

Maternity Portraits - A Growing Family
The greatest compliment one can receive when a client from a previous job makes contact and asks if I would like to take more photos of their family. It not only brings a smile to my face, but it's exhilarating catching up and watching the family grow and change. I had the pleasure of experiencing this with Natasha, Drew and their two children as they awaited their third born before Melbourne became the most lockdown city in the world. You may remember Natasha and Drew from a previous post (Natasha & Drew), pending the arrival of their twins.
What a beautiful family. All the best and good luck. I am looking forward to seeing the kids growing up.

Ann Maree and Shipad are getting married later in the year at Werribee Mansion. For the engagement portrait photoshoot, we did some scouting. We found many great backdrops, and I am looking forward to the big day.
Maternity Portraits In the Garden
Adey and Simon are expecting their first child. Their garden provided the perfect location for their photoshoot.
A romantic stroll along the beach
Amy, Steve and their dog Shadow often take a gentle stroll along the beach after dinner.
Shadow is like a wind-up toy. Throw the ball, and he will keep bringing it back.
With Shadow occupied, it gave me a chance to capture a few moments between Amy and Steve.
The cute little bump
Simone and Orry are expecting their first born. We had a great afternoon capturing some magic moments in the beautiful gardens of the Arboretum in Boronia.

The food and wine were divine. Yes, I was eating and drinking on the job! It was impossible not to.

Cake Smash Time
Some advice to all parents out there wanting to do a cake smash for their children:
It’s really hard when they can just get up and run away from the cake! Oscar is a very cute but very cheeky one year old who attempted a cake smash!
With some help from his older brother Gabriel, he eventually got the idea.
But somehow the cake smash turned into a dance party! Is big brother already a bad influence?
Well done little Oscar, you finally smashed the cake!
Let's take the kids to the park. It will be fun, they said!
Doesn’t the saying go, “you should never work with children or animals?” Well, I clearly failed that test!
But when you go against all advice, you get some awesome photos like this:
Well, at least they co-operated some of the time (this included dad!). Like father, like daughter?
But, kids will be kids and I wouldn’t want it any other way!

Little Baby Noah
Little baby Noah is just 7 weeks old. He was the subject of my latest photo shoot.
He is a cutie, the apple of his parents and grandparents eyes!
With his cute little ears, fingers and hands, why wouldn’t he be?

A morning walk
What a great way to start a weekend. Going for a nice stroll in the park and taking some photos. It’s even better when you have 3 very photogenic people, Lynda, Sascha and their daughter Evie.

Congratulations to Henry, Kiri and family on their 10 year wedding anniversary.
The occasion was marked with a beautiful party in the Botanical Gardens surrounded by family and friends.

Happy 30th Madeleine
Madeleine recently celebrated her 30th birthday in style with an awesome party.
There was a beautiful flower wall made by Leyla from Hadassah Botanica (www.hadassahbotanica.com ). It was a photographers delight
It almost looks as good as the birthday girl!
Madeleine’s brother and sisters sang her a birthday song which they wrote themselves. Impressive guys!
I brought along my new toy - portable photo printer. Madeleine got a box of awesome photos from the night with hand written messages from her friends and family. Her guests also got to take something home.
