Recently I spent an afternoon with Ashlee, Dan and their daughter Xanthea at Warrandyte Pound Bend Reserve. If you haven’t visited and you like beautiful and tranquil surroundings, then it’s perfect for you. I was lucky enough to spend my teenage years growing up around this park. It's a beautiful place.

Some advice to all parents out there wanting to do a cake smash for their children:
It’s really hard when they can just get up and run away from the cake! Oscar is a very cute but very cheeky one year old who attempted a cake smash!
With some help from his older brother Gabriel, he eventually got the idea.
But somehow the cake smash turned into a dance party! Is big brother already a bad influence?
Well done little Oscar, you finally smashed the cake!
Doesn’t the saying go, “you should never work with children or animals?” Well, I clearly failed that test!
But when you go against all advice, you get some awesome photos like this:
Well, at least they co-operated some of the time (this included dad!). Like father, like daughter?
But, kids will be kids and I wouldn’t want it any other way!

Little baby Noah is just 7 weeks old. He was the subject of my latest photo shoot.

Little Abigail is only 2 weeks old and she adorable. Her mother, father and little sister would agree.

Little Kevin recently celebrated his 1st birthday. This was the 2nd time I had the pleasure to hang out with little Kevin and his family.

What a fun morning! Taking two families out to the Tulip Festival to take photos. The kids had endless fun running through the rows of flowers. I am not sure how there were any flowers still upright by the end of the day!
Baby Kevin is only 7 months old, and I think that you would agree, he is very cute! Enough said, I'll let the pictures do the talking!
A new video game was realised on Sunday, Super Daddio. It's a game where you need to look after a house full of kids! Chris is up for the challenge! He will have some support from Spiderman and Batman to lend hand if he needs it, along with some superhero snacks.
Chris, Mel and family will be welcoming a 5th member. To celebrate, a day at the park with family and friends was in order to reveal the gender of the newest member!

Autumn, such a beautiful time of year. With all the colourful falling leaves. There is no better place to enjoy the colours of Autumn then Maroondah Dam, where I had the pleasure to spend an afternoon with Breanna, Simon and Sienna.
If only the weather was like this at the moment!
I had the pleasure recently of photographing Leesa and her family, which consisted of grandparents, sisters, husbands and kids.
Fun was had by all both in front and behind the camera. At times everyone was in fits of laughter (including myself!), as everyone took turns at providing amusement to those in the photos trying to get that priceless reaction.
Little Evie is almost 1. To mark the occasion her parents wanted her to make a big mess and smash a cake!
For the most part Evie was more interested in everything else but the cake.
But eventually, like all of us, little Evie couldn't resist the sugary cake and made one big mess!
Mum, Dad and the family cat also joined in on the fun!

Last Saturday was a first for me. I photographed a gender reveal or a cake cutting, to reveal the sex of the latest addition to Halee and Peter's family.
The house was a buzz with everyone claiming to know the gender of the new arrival, wearing blue thinking it was a boy or pink if it was a girl. However, there was only one who truly knew, Mel, the cake sculptor.
The moment had arrived, who was to be victorious? The boys or the girls?
It was the girls!
But not everyone was so happy...........
Poor Connor, just wanted a little brother!
Its always great fun photographing cute kids, but it's even more fun and exciting when a close friends ask to you to photography their child. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to photograph Mark and Nicki's 6 month old little baby girl Evie.
